Defonatly not, on my first period I took ibuprofen on my second day, flow didn't change at all. Period ended up lasting 11 more days! (13 days all togeother) so... No its not true it just helps with cramp pain :) xx

no? I take ibuprofen every month for period pains.

The only thing so make your period lighter is the contreceptive pill. I went on this at the age of 13 and it wasn't for sex. I suffered with very heavy bleeding and very bad pains so my doctor put me on them and they worked great.

In my personal experience (I have taken it while on my period) it did not cause a change in flow. Mild exercise sometimes helps cramps and even helps get your period over with faster (not dramatically faster)

No. I take advil, which is ibuprofen, to help with my cramps and it does nothing to your period flow.
