Is it financially idiotic for Juventus to wait so long to release their home kit?

Many teams have their kits released already, some (like Chelsea, Milan - though these are Adidas) have it released before the end of last season. Juventus have a trend that sees them release it later than many other top European clubs.

Financially, is this an idiotic mistake considering Juventus rely on jersey sales as much as any other club? Can you find a reason why they would let their release go as late as does (perhaps to prevent kit name mistakes, to create a flurry of sales on tours/early season etc)?

I want my home jersey with Vidal on the back already!!

Update:

@TheWhiteWesSr - I take your point, but my point would have to do a lot with fans outside of Europe, particularly Asia, where the market is huge. For instance, Man City have just won the Premier League with stars like Aguero, Silva etc. They go to Asia on a tour with a new kit. Man City finish mid-table with players like Barton etc in 2007 and go on tour in Asia with a new kit. Do you think City will have more jersey sales this year or than they had in 2007? Probably, mainly because of bandwagoners.

The same logic applies with Juventus. Juventus are failing to capitalise on a huge opportunity. The amount of bandwagon, happy go lucky fans in world football is amazing. They go with the flavour of the month. If they have a choice between a new (plastic) club like City, or a club like Juventus with history then I'd hedge my bets on one of our jerseys being bought. But what if we don't have a jersey on sale yet? See my point?

Likewise, I'd imagine a lot of on-the-fence fans wh

Update 2:

...who go with the flow bought a load of Chelsea jerseys after they won the Champions League because Chelsea had their kit on sale at the time. Smart business move by them. Juventus are failing to use the market to their advantage. Its not about the fans who we all know will buy the jersey, the hardcore fans, but the undecided ones.

i already have My new Roma jersey , and honestly i have no idea about the delay regarding Juventus Jersey

and something else , your argument about bandwagoners has a huge flaw , before It was Italian team with huge Transfers (Buffon 49m , Vieri 48m , Crespo53 , Inzaghi and etc ) and now they cant afford it , its not something something new that peoples mind is in their eyes but juve should probably come up with the reason for that decision , that i dont know yet

I'm not sure... Maybe it's something the Scudetto champions do? As long as I could remember the Inter shirt has been released late until this season.

They probably can't decide how many stars should be on it.
