How do I find out what size hard drive and how much memory and the type of processor my computer has?

I am looking to get another laptop and want to get one similar to the one we already have, but not the same one. I do not know what size hard drive, how much memory is on it or what type of processor it has. How do I find this out? Where do I look on my computer to get that info? I don't know where the paperwork or anything is for it.

Update:

Sorry, don't know much about computers.

It's a Gateway using windows vista.

Go to your Start Menu and right click computer. Then click Properties. The Information you want will be there.

Well to find the size of the hard drive. Go to my computer and right click the hard drive and click properties. It will show you not only how many total GB it has but how many are used and how many are free.

To find stuff like processor and memory, I like to use dxdiag.exe. To do this click the start menu. If using XP click run and type in dxdiag.exe . If using vista or 7 click the start menu and type in dxdiag.exe and press enter. It will come up with a program that will shw you processor and RAM and pretty much everything else about your pc.

Since we don't the os, try when your pc first boots up to see if there is a key referenced to press for set up options. Usually it is esc or F2 or F12 or del. If you can get into your CMOS settings for your BIOS, the various screens in there will tell you how much memory your hardware recognizes, any attached hard disks and their sizes, and the processor type and speed.
