Shaft drive versus chain drive?

Can someone give me an idea of the percentage of power loss by using a shaft drive on a motorcycle rather than a chain final drive?

Update:

@ WOM. Thanks for that but I'm really trying to quantify how much the power loss would be, assuming the chain etc. is in top order.

    A chain drive system that is in good condition transmits more power than a shaft drive.

    However chain drives quickly deteriorate (compared to shafts) and then their losses may exceed that of a shaft drive.

    Big bikes most often use shafts because the cost of big chains become quite expensive and shaft drive becomes more a more economical solution.

    Another attraction to big bike owners is the far less maintenance with a shaft drive.

    Shaft drive is also smoother and quieter in operation.

    Another benefit with shafts is the ability to offset the drive line angles ,, allowing more possible variation between wheel and engine widths.
