What is wrong with Kings' Tyreke Evans?
He is not as quick as some elite PGs but his handle and crossover are nice weapons for an SG. He can also post-up and his jumpshot is not bad either. Then why is the Kings organization is making a big mess out of Tyreke's talent development?
Is it Evans or Kings fault?

A combination of things. He's not a good enough passer to run an offense as efficiently as possible. On top of that his shot selection is often poor and his FG% is very low because of it, often below 0.40%. That's not good for a shooting guard. His game is build on driving to the hole and making crazy layups, stop and pops, floaters and bank shots from any angle. He passes well for a shooting guard, but his style of play makes him turnover prone.
As a 2 guard he has trouble defending the bigger 2's, and the faster 1's blow past him. He is the definition of combo guard.
He rebounds very well and can score in bunches, so the kings wanted to find a way to keep him on the floor. To do this they forced him to play small forward. But he is too small for this position.
The kings prefer Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Thornton at the 1 and 2 now. I expect Evans to be traded.
It's partly his fault for not developing a better jump shot and not learning to defend better.
Partly the kings for adding players in positions he already plays.
