It was from bad owner ship before Ricketts bought the team
also a GM that made bad deals (Jim Hendry)
Tribune Company really didnt care about the team especially when Sam Zell owned the Trib

Well sort of managemeant but ownership because if the cubs make one more bad trade or if they let one of are stars go as a free agent i might just blow up, i cant stand watching them, yes , i'm a cubs fan. I hate to see them lose all the time , I just wish I could see them atleast make it to the world series. And if someone tells you because of the goat or the cat or steve bartmen there retarded because the cubs just aren't good because they aren't not because of a curse. The Chicago Cubs were the best team in MLB in 2008 then now it's 2012 and there the worst team, hopefully in 2013 the cubs grow and get better and maybe win more than 70 games.
