Is there more than one actual yellow Jersey?

Question

If there's only one yellow jersey, over the course of the month it would end up in pretty nasty condition. I wouldn't want to wear it after the leader wipes his nose on his yellow sleeve about a thousand times. And maybe the leader has a contagious skin disease, or maybe lice, or worse yet, scabies. They would have to specially wash the jersey to get rid of the scabies, and I don't think the fabric would survive that. Not to mention, what if the new leader is really big or really scrawny, and the jersey doesn't fit.

So I bet there's more than one actual yellow jersey, am I right?

I would imagine the sponsors of the Tour de France can afford several hundred jerseys.

When Bradley Wiggins was awarded his first yellow jersey, it even had his team name and logo on it. He was also wearing a yellow skin suit yesterday and will be wearing a yellow jersey today. Some of this stuff is made up in advance, although the jerseys given on the podium are actually embossed with the team logs backstage just before the ceremony. As for yellow bikes, some are done in advance, you can bet that Cadel Evans' team has a yellow BMC all ready in case he needs it

No there are hundreds of them! At the end of each stage the yellow jersey holder gets a stack full to sign for friends and supporters alone!

There are also special yellow jerseys that zip up the back for just the presentation ceremony.

As soon as the winner is declared the silk screen machine cranks up to churn out A goodly new number to replace the stack they will deplete for the day.

There are many different yellow jerseys.  They will have the teams Logo and sponsors on them.
