why yahoo are stupid ?? their security causing us to lose our accounts !?
I have another account that I forgot its password , not fully forgot but not exactly ....
I repeat the possible combinations and I am "deadly " sure that it is one of them ... but their STUPID security refuse to unlock the account if I enter many choices and do not insist on the same one
yahoo you are STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPID ! IT'S ME ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
if you afraid of "brute force" then WHAT ABOUT THE F* CONFIRMATION CODE ! ! !
unfortunately same thing happen with security questions : I am deadly sure my answer was like either : me-theman OR me_theman OR me theman .... it is me the man but forgot the exact aggregation, one more time they need a STUPID policy that you insist on same answer F* ! !
and the result is that I lost my dear account !
please can I sue them ??? you see they didn't use this policy when we first signed up , they changed how many time you can repeat an answer , and therefor I didn't find it necessary to remember the exact combination at that time....
I am serious : CAN I SUE THEM ???
thank you bella Rose .... I apologize if anybody find this post offending .... it's hard to explain but I know that I AM ENTERING THE RIGHT PASSWORD / SECURITY ANSWERS ... but they made some policy so when you enter many choices they ignore the right one ! and I explained that it is either me-theman , or me_theman ... things like these ....
one more thing : you didn't understand "brute force" ! ! it is not the literal meaning , it is a program that can try many choices to find the correct password ... and I explained that they shouldn't be afraid of this cause there is on screen code confirmation to prove that a human is typing not a machine
it was very dear account to me ... and now it is locked ....
it's not fully my mistake because I am entering the right answer , it is only because of their NEW policy that deny you even when you enter the right answer ....
by the way : I contacted them and asked them to provide solutions , like : if nobody else using the

Yaser!!! You should not make angry posts!!! You are breaching Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines
You are being anti - social by threatening brute force and as for name calling and using unacceptable language - well that is not on either. You have got yourself so upset that you can't think straight or remember what you want to remember like codes and passwords.
No!!! at this rate you won't be able to sue as you don't have a leg to stand on with angry posts, threats and bad language.
Take a few deep breaths. Calm down and think through what you would like to say and then say it in a few words without bad language or threats - assertively but not forcefully. There are also internet rules you should observe when using Yahoo Answers or any internet site. These are some core netiquette rules. http://www.albion.com/netiquette/corerules.html
Cheers!!!

This is not just your problem, almost every Yahoo user is complaining about the same but yahoo is still living in an Oblivion and thinking that it is 1990 still.
In the recent time Yahoo has changed its password policy to an insane limit. The password rules are as follow:
- More than 8 characters of which
1. At least 1 capital letter
2. At least 1 digit
3. At least 1 special character that is neither a digit not an alphabet.
- You cannot use former 3 passwords.
They are not taking into account that everyone who uses yahoo is not a computer geek. Making the users comply to such a strict password policy is just causing them to loose the users. In contrast, Google and Microsoft have a much relaxed password policy and they offer more ways to retrieve it. In my organization there are 900+ people and almost every week I see people having their accounts on yahoo are either cursing yahoo or migrating to either Microsoft or Google.
At this alarming rate of the numbers of users migrating, Yahoo seriously needs to review its security policies.
