it would be on your sound card, it relatively is interior the computer, not the visual show unit! it is build onto the motherboard, yet in the two case the jack would be on the back of your computer. as quickly because it is plugged in, you would be able to could pass to sound settings and turn the mic quantity up or un-examine the mute container, looking on what you prefer to do. Un-checking mute would furnish you with comments. each so often it works to go away it on mute, yet grew to become up, and recording utility will nevertheless get the sound, simply by fact the mute container merely mutes it from popping out of your audio equipment as you talk into it, not from classes getting the sound. do not pay attention to the moron that pronounced plug it into your difficult force. it relatively is extra ridiculous than the visual show unit. difficult drives merely shop documents and could require beginning the computer. somebody is making an attempt to clutter with you there. Edit: the guy under me is saying CPU, it relatively is worse than difficult force. The CPU is merely the pentium or athlon or in spite of chip that does the calculating (CPU = useful processing unit), it plugs into to motherboard, not something can plug into it, the motherboard handles each thing that flows out and in of it.

You've put them in the wrong slot, there are two holes one with little headphones underneath one with a mic
