Whats A GSM Card Phone..?

ok im thinking about buying this phone at ahappy deal but in the phone that i want to buy it says... This phone will only work with GSM network

850/900/1800/1900 mHz. can i just buy a prepaid sim card and so can i can use the card on this phone...

    T-Mobile and AT&T are the big gsm carriers in USA.

    Yes and if you're in america you can use it on tmoblie or any other carrier with sim cards
