Best way of removing wallpaper border?
I've been looking online for the best solution to remove a wallpaper border from a painted wall. no idea if it was sized, probably not.
Suggestions include, white vinegar, fabric softener, laundry detergent, all diluted with water and sprayed on the border. then scrape off.
Anyone have a preference?

Try the fabric softener first.. If that doesn't work use the vinegar to dissolve the glue.. I have used both it depends on the glue of the border. Detergent never worked out well for me.

To be fair my favourite thing would be a heat gun - its less hassle, less work and it heats up the glue/paste keeping the border up and will just peel off !!
cracking tool to have !!
here is a site that sells them
