Is it true that scientists predict that humans will someday outgrow our pinkie toes due to evolution?

I don't know where I heard that from but I heard that scientists predict that we will evolve out of our pinkie toes because we don't need them.. Is it true?

Here's a good rule of thumb:

Any scientists who believes they can make specific predictions about the future of life doesn't know enough about evolution to comment on the topic.

No, not really. The human body is dotted with a bunch of vestigial things that don't do us any good, but still hang around because they don't do any harm either.
