Wow, that's great! You must have a fascination with history, as do I! Have you checked out any other wars? I don't want to knock down your past life theory. This may be a question you might not be able to answer. (In this lifetime). I apologize if I sound slightly spiritual. You should take this fascination and enjoy it to the fullest! You're in luck because there's so much history to enjoy! There's a lot of battles too! I like the crusades, it's interesting to see the papacy having such a power in europe during the middle ages. I also like the barbarian invasion. It's really interesting to see how the former tribes settled into different parts of europe and formed countries. Ie: frank- france, saxons- england. I'm also a big fan of Russian and Chinese history! But that doesn't matter, I like it all honestly, history's so fascinating and endless, you'll never stop learning... And it's candy to the brain. Happy learning! If you can visualize yourself in these event that's also what makes it even cooler! I do that at times too, when I'm sitting in class, it will turn into a viking meeting hall, or a greek academy. Have fun with it. I'm glad to see you have a lot of passion for history.

It's possible that you might have been, in a past life. Our likes and dislikes are sometimes founded upon experiences that we have had in our soul history. It sounds like you have some positive associations with it, so it sounds like it was a good lifetime for you. BTW General Douglas McArthur believed in reincarnation, and felt that he had been in battle many times before in different lifetimes.

I believe in past lives. But that's just me. You may want to, when you're older, get a career in history of something.
