Try www.24ace.co.uk - do all sorts of things cheaply and have regular monthly bargains - household, gifts, clothes, shoes etc.
For gardening stuff go to www.greenfingers.com or www.selections.com for garden and kitchen and also music and books.
www.thebookpeople.co.uk for books but it's what they have on offer at the time. I've had some excellent bargains that make wonderful presents. There's also www.bibliophile books.com
For bedding and linen www.wallacesacks.com have excellent high quality bargains.
Don't forget voucher sites either such as my vouchers.com

Honestly, Amazon.
I use amazon ALOT...I get a lot of things 90% cheaper there. Also, Amazon is reliable. Even though your buying something from a company USUALLY not Amazon, if there's a problem, Amazon will fix the problem (refund, exchange, credit) and they have always been very co-operative. That's www.amazon.com
Also, there's always Ratings on both the Product, and seller. Plus, there's no bidding, and you can choose from new and used offers from Other sellers with a variety of different offers on price and shipping. Almost all ship 3-5 days with an option to expedite in the following: Standard 3-5, 2 Day, Expidited 1-3 Days, and a lot offer 1 Day (overnight). If something is late, you can complain for a full refund from either the Seller, or Amazon.
Also, one more thing: Often I type in what I want on google, and there's usually a lot of results with the Price in the Description, but more often than not, by far-Amazon is where I find the best Prices.
I've also heard EBuy.com is good as well, and No Bidding.
Amazon has a smartphone app as well.
