    Go to

    http://account.yahoo.com/

    Login with your existing password.

    And then you will find the option to change your password.

    First you need to sign in then

    Click your name in Hi,your name at the top left and then select Account info

    Then screen appears asking you to enter your current password

    Type your password and click sign in

    Click on CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD which you can see in left of the page below Sign-in and security

    Type your current and new password and then click on save

    Your password will be changed

    To change your password assuming it's Yahoo http://edit.yahoo.com/config/change_pw before you change it back up any important mail you may have. Several people have lost their mail when changing the password.

    go to your mail, and where it has your name on the top left corner, click the down arrow.

    then, click account info, its going to ask you to retype your password, for security reasons.

    Next, scroll down to the box that says "Sign-in and Security"

    the first option under that will be change password, click that, it will ask you to type your current password and the new one you wish to have.

    There you go!

    Click the little downward arrow beside your name at the top of this page scroll down, click account info, follow the prompts to edit and save
