good matchup against MtG werewolf deck?

i want to know what deck(s) would provide a good, even match-up against a werewolf deck. my friend and I have recently decided to start playing magic, he wants a werewolf deck, and i'd like to get a deck that is more or less evenly matched so as to have our matches be more entertaining. (i was thinking of some sort of angel deck as i like avacyn's[the angel card] artwork)
