Is yahoo mail's spam filter broken?

It's not broken-----BUT there's only "so much" that ANY Spam filter can do.

YOU have to co-operate with the Spam filter by protecting your address with safe usage of your account. Never open unwanted mail and Never click the "unsubscribe" link.

Spammers insert an extra dot (.) or slash (/)---or one different letter, into their address, each time they send, which allows them to slip past the filter.

Unfortunately---once they get your address---it's nearly impossible to ever stop it.

HOWEVER:

Check out "Mailwasher", it's a "big" help in eliminating spam from your account.

Click this link, (below) for information about it.

It allows you to bounce emails back to the sender---saying "address not found". They won't waste their time sending, (or sharing your address with their cronies)---if they think they have an invalid address---So---Spammers will soon stop sending anything to you. That's the theory anyway, and it seems to work pretty good.

Note: the program is free but limited to one email account.

Yes I am unfortunately suffering from that too. The spam filter has been broken for about a week now. Were just going to have to live with it for a while. Hope this helped you.

For years,mine has continually worked purely high quality and impulsively i'm getting flooded with rubbish that would desire to be going to my unsolicited mail container and no thank you to touch Yahoo for help,,,HELLLLLP!
