how do i run older version programs with windows 7?
i loaded a game i used with xp and vista but will not run with 7

right click the icon,you want to run..and then select PROPERTIES.on the tab select COMPATABILITY
check the box (run this program in compatability mode for:)
select windows 7 in the list..
try this first..

You can try Compatibility Mode but it may not work, especially for old games.
Just right-click the games icon -> Compatibility tab -> put a checkmark in "Run this program in..." -> pick the OS you may think it used to run in.
You can choose anything from Windows 95 to Windows 7. However, if it doesn't run under "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)", you can pretty well give it up.
If you're up to it and if you're not familiar how to do so, Google "dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7" and go from there.

Try right-click on icon -> Properties -> Compatibility Mode and then set it to Windows XP.
