Does a 2000 dodge stratus have a distributor?

I was told it has one by the shop that's going to fix it. I also was told other wise it had interior coils. Which was is? I'm trying to buy the right thing with my car without wasting money.

    What engine? If it is the 2.5 made by mitsubishi then yes it has a distributor cap. If its the 2.4L or 2.0L made by dodge, it has a coil pack.

    The 2.5 v-6 does have a distributor the 4 cylinder does not . It is located on the back or the head closest to the fire wall .

    i believe all newer models use coil packs, hope this helps
