Anyone heard of Troon Made Golf Clubs?
I am thinking of buying a new set of clubs, and these look great and are reasonably priced. I am a novice golfer, and wonder if the quality is there, and how user friendly they may be. Thank you.

I've heard of a lot of different brands... Troon Made is not one of them. I just did a web search for them and came up empty- your question was one of the first sites listed.
I agree with the other poster in that if you like them you should be OK. In your case, have them retrofitted for length, lie angle, grip size, shaft flex, swing weight and total weight. That guarantees you'll be in a good starting spot with a higher probability (depending on how you swing) to make solid, centered contact.
If you can, ask the person/company selling them what the outside diameter of the iron hosels are. A typical steel iron OD is around .540", give or take due to tolerances from the polishing done. If the OD of the Troon Made irons seems excessively high... it's probably made from zinc and not steel. That means it can't be bent for lie or loft adjustments. If you fall into the "normal" range that's fine, but if you need, say, 2* upright you're not going to get that with these clubs. Zinc is brittle, so it'll just break where the hosel meets the head if bending is tried.
