    none at all. ever.

it is recommended to have at least 10 gallons per goldfish at the absolute minimum.

common goldfish can get to 12", some can even get to 18"+ and this is not uncommon.

i have 2 goldfish and 6 minnows, and they are getting 23 or 28 gallons on wednesday, which is still small for them. they will need a bigger one later on.

    if you want-

-measure the dimesions of the tank(compare it to something maybe, like a carboard box)

-draw a basic goldfish of about 10" (average length)

-then hold it up to where the tank would be and see if it would have space to swim around as an adult.

it may sound silly but it's a good way to see if you tank is big enough.^

also, if you have a smaller tank you would need to do more water changes!

imagine having a 10 inch goldfish in a bowl., it wouldnt work, it wouldnt fit.

so it would get stunted and die quickly. that, and ammonia poisoning would kill it.

i guess a betta fish would be alright in it for some time, but eventually need at least 5 gallons.

a bowl is not even suitable for any fish. you might think that a minnow is small so it would be okay, but they are schooling fish and are meant to be in a group of at least 6 in nothing less than a 10 gallon tank. they need room to swim! so i hate to break it to you but you cant expect them to live long in a bowl!

please try to find at the very lest a 15-20 gallon for those fish, with a strong filter!

You can't keep any fish in a bowl, it's bad for even Betta's. Goldfish are especially bad for bowls. They have a lot of waste, so they NEED a filter. Changing their water often doesn't help since they need a tank that's been cycled (all fish do), which takes about 8 weeks and is quite a process. And goldfish get pretty big, so you'll NEED a 15-30 gallon tank, larger if your going to be keeping more.

Easy 10 points for me ;) the answer is 0 (zero)

*If you don't believe me go and do the loo flush challenge - you have to live in your toilet for a week, eat all of your meals in there, sleep in there, everything in there and the only rule is this you are only allowed to flush the loo once per week.. if other people want to use the loo they can but you can still only flush once per week no matter what the build up.. (like you say you have more than one fish in there, right.. good luck)

you need at least a 15 gallon tank for one goldfish. bowls are like prison cells for goldfish.

When i eat goldfish, i usually like to put about 100 in a bowl. They're best with orange juice or pop.

No fish should ever be in a bowl.

Figure one inch of fish per gallon of water in the bowl.

A five gallon "bowl" would accommodate a total of five inches of fish; this means either five one-inch fish, or one five-inch fish..
