I wonder if they let Honkey Tonk Angels into heaven since they don't come from God in the first place

This is saddening news for me. May God bless her family, she will be missed. Yes she now Rest In Peace. Then the title one of the songs by her somewhat fits that I really like, though picking a single song is at best hard. "How Far Is Heaven" It charted to number eleven in 1956. I had the honor, and privilege to meet both her, and her husband the late Johnny Wright. She ranks at the top of my list, for being friendly, and loved her fans. She was truly a legend, and pioneer in Country and Western music, breaking ground for others to follow. May her talent not ever be forgotten. Edit point: She also achieved something that no other woman in country music to the best of my knowledge never has yet to match, and that is placing one song in each of the top fifteen spot, on the charts. Thus the crown as the true Queen of Country Music is hers. Others may equal or surpass one day that achievement, but she was the first.

Yes I heard yesterday evening. It was a bit of shock. Her passing is another loss of the legends of Country and Western music. There about a dozen now left that can be truly called legends in country music. She was the oldest living legend of country music. She wasn't just the Queen of Country Music she was also known as The Clock Stopper.
She loved her fans and was always friendly to them, and took time to meet her fans when she could. She was a first class lady, in that there is no question. I can state that having met her in 1994.
