Omnipresence: the state of being everywhere at once. Does that mean God is in Hell, or has a presence there?

If not then surly God hasn't the power of Omnipresence?

Don't get all lemon twisted knickers with me, i'm playing devil's advocate here.

I was also told that God is present within all the souls of men (and women), that he never leaves a soul and remains present forever and that once a soul leaves the vessel ( the human body) that they all return to the one genuine Spirit known as ''God''.

Again not that i believe this, i'm just looking for some clarification on the matters according to those that do, or those that don't believe.

Thanks, peas, luv and fish and chips.

God's being omnipresent, present everywhere, means this: God is causally-active at every spatial-location. This means that at any given time, God's ability to affect things (whether by causing a change, or just by continuing to uphold them in being) extends to every point in space. So God is in all things, in one sense, in that God is actively and continuously upholding everything that exists.

So yes, God is "in Hell" in the sense that God is causally-active with respect to Hell, and whatever resides within it. He's obviously not "in Hell" in any sense that would imply that He's some kind of resident there like the damned or the Devil. That would be incoherent anyways, since God is immaterial (and thus, doesn't have a body that occupies some spatial-location).

Each soul belongs to one person. No reincarnation into another person or animal.. God knows because He created all souls. Only the ones that receive eternal life through faith in Jesus get to live in God's presence. After the Earth is destroyed, the saved souls (including those who were too young or unable to understand as well as God's people in OT times) come back as the same but not "damaged" humans and reign with Christ. This is not traditional reincarnation because it is the same soul with the same body, but without defect or disease. Who wouldn't want that?

Contrary to popular belief, the biblical hell isn't burning yet, but when it does, it will be because God will physically manifest his presence with fire.

Also logically, to be in a place where an omnipresent entity doesn't exist, it would require ceasing to exist from this reality.

Psalms 139:8 - "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there."

Yes, God will be present at the lake of fire, casting the unrepentant in.

First off , there is no hell . God is transcendent of both time and space and therefor is all and is everywhere.

I'm sure it's all a theoretical way of visualising something we don't understand.

Could be. Because it's everyone's core self.
