Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
Ive heard a buncha really good rap album this year but they all lack a certain something that this album is drenched in: EMOTION. In the slow/sad songs, you can hear the pain in Franks voice. In the upbeat songs, Frank sounds genuinely happy. In Super Rich Kids, a song bout spoiled teenagers who seem bored in their lavish lifes, Frank sounds (&Earl Sweatshirt) sound legit spoiled yet bored. Theres just a connection that Frank Ocean makes w/ listeners that is rare, genuine, and sincere. Im hooked on this album.
