Can a medical lab technologist get into graduate school to become a medical scientist?

I want to go into medical research. Should I become a medical lab technologist first. Then apply to grad school after I get my four year degree?

    If you want to become a medical researcher start with a good undergraduate science degree, biology, biochemistry, chemistry. Then think about grad school.

    yes and you should probably get some work experience after your first degree since a reference letter can be helpful.
