Or why would a person do this?
I know a person and in the past if I asked how they were feeling they'd say "why do you care how I feel" or "I don't want you to care about me" or something like that. Lately the person has been answering honestly.
I'm wondering if the person has feelings for me. Would having feelings relate in any way to a sudden change like I described?

Maybe at first he was having troubles and now that he found out that you care for him maybe he actually is starting to like you.
