suzuki dt 4 will not run without the choke?
I have removed and cleaned the carburetor with no change in the way it runs. It will not idle and will not run without fiddling with the choke. I soaked the carburetor in a gallon of carb cleaning solvent, I blew it out with air and ran a fine wire through all the passages. Fuel pump is working fine. I am beginning to think that one of the crankshaft seals is leaking. Anyone have any ideas?

Usually the problem lies with what you are describing and have done, so the only advice I can offer is to go to the Cars and Transportation forum of Yahoo Answers because they have a dedicated boat heading that will probably deal with your outboard issue better than us over here.

I consider Mike,i think of you nonetheless have a carb challenge.those carbs are a discomfort in the butt to scrub and as mike suggested its greater low fee to purchase a clean carb then rebuild the only you have once you element in the labour fee.
