No, Simon Cowell on the X factor decided to put them together as a band in bootcamp because neither Niall, Harry, Liam, Zayn, or Louis made it through as a solo artist.

Who cares. They suck. Just a bunch of little ******* that girls think are hot. So these girls fall in love with them. Listen to Alter Bridge. That's a modern band with REAL music.
