Bitdefender's Performance?

Hi

I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2011 running on a Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit, 4GB Ram, and a Dual-core Intel Processor.

I am thinking about upgrading it to Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 but I want to know about its performance on my 4GB Ram, Dual Core processor.

Bitdefender is great at protecting against viruses but I read read some reports saying Bitdefender was resource heavy but major review sites say Bitdefender tries to conserve your resources

I tried Bitdefender 2012 and I thought I was kind of resource heavy so I am wondering if this 2013 version is any different.

Thanks for trying to help!

Update:

Before I posted this question I tried it on a Virtual Machine(Windows 7, 2Gb Ram, 1 Processor)

I asked cuz the hardware was kind of low on the the virtual machine so I wasn't sure if the test would be correct.

On the Virtual Machine it was very slow but then again even if I revert back to a snapshot of a clean system on Virtual Box without software then it was also still laggy so I thought he tests would be incorrect.

there are alway trials so you can download the trial and see if it runs good on your system or go and see the system requirements for bitdefender 2013.

when i test bidefender 2013 it was the beta and i was running a virtual machine with 3gb and it ran well.

so, i guess it will run good on your system.
