I just read Stephen Smith's article about Jeremy Lin caring more about the money than his job. Is this true?

I often thought that Jeremy Lin's stardom came around because he turned NYK into a winning team. It wasn't because he was Chinese or whatever. Melo and STAT obviously didn't work too well with the Knicks, but Lin seems to play pretty well with his teammates, but I just don't get all the hating from the NBA analysts.

The money Lin is getting from the Rockets should just be enough to pay off his student loans from Harvard.

The man obviously made a business decision. If somebody was offering me $30m while another person is at $25m, i'd take the better offer and make more money. ESPECIALLY when people don't think i'm worth it. Even if the Rockets do cut him due to lack of performance, it's still guaranteed more money.

Then again, the Knicks are a better team in my opinion, so Lin MAY be the star player on the Rockets...time will tell.

It is kinda sketchy though how 20 games got him $30 mil.

Source(s): I miss the old Rockets uniforms... :/

Steven A. Smith is an idiot who flip flops when need be. Same with Skip. I would bet that Steven A. would start praising Lin again if he goes on another hot streak, and say he's exposed if he has one bad game. He's a moron who likes the sound of his own voice.
