Sometimes if we watch a movie with alot of action in it, we get all wound up, than we go to bed and our minds haven't wound down . He could be replaying that movie with himself in it. Maybe he's playing a fighting part, or some enemie in it is chasing him. We have all kinds of dreams. In society today we are so busy, that are bodies and minds are so involved in daily stress, it's very hard to relax. Stress can be good[ happy] or sad, your body doesn't know what kind it is, it's just stress. As far as children, it's good about at least an hour before bed, have them get ready for bed, and don't let them watch action movies, or scary movies in the evening, because nightmares will play ot in their dreams. Also, If weve had an exceptional busy day or left unsolved problems, we can dream from the excess engery in our bodies. i hope this helps.
