Women on Depo Provera?
I am well aware of the side affects of this birth control, however I have been on it for nine months. Just recently received my fourth shot and I have noticed and decrease in my mental stability and not being able to fall asleep. I am not concerned with the abdominal discomfort or headaches for those are temporary, but am more concerned with the other two symptoms. Women who have been on it for a span of a year or more, if you would please give me your experiences so I can better judge if I want to stay on this form of birth control.

GET OFF!!! I was on Depo for three years and am now suffering with osteopenia (Bone Lose) at the age of 31. My Vitamin D level registered 18 when it's suppose to be at least 40. I am now diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiancy and Vitamin B-12 Deficiancy as well as mild Animia all as a result of the Depo Provera.I was also an emotional wreck while on this birth control. I do not recommend this method of birth control for anyone.
