No, but you're close.

Watching that stuff will put you into a very creepy state of mind, which is why it was created. Once you get into that state of mind (could that happen, maybe I'm not alone, something is watching me, what was that sound, etc.), it's all over. You start hearing totally normal things and attaching paranormal meanings to them, you see stuff and swear it's a demon, and it gets worse and worse. Those shows and movies were made to have that exact effect on people.

I believe in ghosts. (I've seen them many times, and they're not anything like what you see on TV.) But I also believe in the human psyche and the power of suggestion.

I don't really believe they can come through the television, but if you go to a house where there is spirits then they can follow you home and attach themselves to you. I think watching those programs is going to make you believe there is some activity in your house. Isn't it? Your watching it and suddenly the book falls. & you are 100% convinced that your house is haunted. Right? The tv is just going to spark up your imagination more than anything else.

It's partly true. If a person believes in silly things and watches phony TV shows, there's a good chance they'll convince themselves they're haunted.

What a weird coincidence! I just was watching Ghost stories! I think that if you go to a haunted house, or seance, you can invite them to your house, but I never heard them in your house because you watch shows on them.

it is best to avoid the t.v. it will kill your mind and turn you into a walking zombie. that's even worse than letting ghosts in.
