What do you think of my Photography?

I'm more of a cinematographer, but since I have this 7D I might as well take some pictures with it:) I'm still learning and I've recently learned a lot more about ISO. Anyways, here's the tumblr: http://kanyewes.tumblr.com/

Basically, if you're a photographer, I need your help:). How's my framing? How could I have taken a shot differently? (Some have noise issues but I have that all figured out now). I've asked my dad since he's a photographer and I got some good tips! I just wanna hear what other people have to say!

What I use: Canon 7D/24-70mm L

What's a good prime lens for video? If you have any ideas?:3

Thank you, all.

Update:

The Grand Tetons Mountain picture... Ya I wanted to get that whole reflection. There was a log right under the frame though, so it would look worse _

    Nice... 7.23/10..

    How's my framing? -

nice-ish... Your angles are excellent but u gotta get rid of the uneeven cropping..i'e when u see a mountain reflect off a lake, try to include the complete reflection..next work more on the f number....U seem to be working with the lowest possible f on your aperture (f/2.8 ish is guess)..Try to adjust f so that u include a bit more of the subject...like in many images they look good, but many they dont...

Next the lens u'r using determines a lot of the 'noise issues'...How because most lenses have a pont of maximum 'crearity'...ie suppose u'r using a 50mm f/1.4 lens, the sharpness actually starts after f/2.8-f/3.2 at the lowest ISO hence images taken at apertures below that are 'noisy' if u crop them...

Next since your images are good, try not to crop beyoun1900Xacross...why because later u;d find out that images smaller then that are not 'professionally usable'..

I use Nikons so i wont be able to tell ore about Canon cameras...Rest cheers...!

iam not a pro photographer but I hope to be.

these are really amazing I really like the seconded one and the cat, if you have an IPod get 'instagram' it an app for

photographers, you can convert your camera photos on your computer on to your IPod. my username is 'alienfan1969' my name is Hayley hills ;)

    my tip:

what I do is take photos as much as I can at the right time e.g sunny atmosphere or a werid object, then delete the ones I don't like.

then edit the good ones iam happy with :)

    good luck ;)

The composing and framing is exactly the same in cinema photography as it is in stills photography, a lot of the best directors learnt their photography and lighting skills as still photographers first. Hitchcock springs to mind, Carol Reed (The Third Man) is another. And it shows in their films.

If they are your images, what are you asking here for? You should be giving answers.

I really like your landscape photos. I especially liked the sunset by the bench. That was cool. I'm only 14 and just starting out but I really like yours! Good luck!
