All the Sanctions on Penn State will this happen?

The very first game is Alabama v/s Penn State. In Jerry" place. Will these sanctions include the Ncaa to choose Alabama another opponent? How about USC get down to the Core right now.

I think you are a little late.. Bama and Penn St. played last year at Happy Valley and at Bama the year before.. They have no games scheduled in the near future...

What are you talking about? Alabama and Penn St. do not play. Besides, it's not up to the NCAA to choose an opponent for a school.

Ped State formerly known as Penn State or Pennsylvania State University is a pox on the American house, an outrage, a true abomination.

America’s concerns in this matter should be:

    1. Finding those who aided, abetted and assisted in the crimes, and prosecuting those same individuals to the fullest extent of the law so that these crimes never happen again. Our society collectively should say that we can NOT tolerate this behavior.

    2. Trying to make the victims of these crimes, to the extent possible, whole in the form of money in a civil action against the individuals involved as well as Ped State.

    3. Comforting the true victims’ families as they probably will never be compensated at law.

    4. Studying in a psychological sense how and why this happened, both with the individuals and also with Ped State so this never happens again.

The Ped State; administrators, faculty, employees, students and alumni are NOT victims in this matter and here is why:

    1. They all knew what heavy emphasis Ped State placed on collegiate sports over and above academics. Academics is the very reason you go to college NOT sports. That heavy emphasis on sports was and is dysfunctional, and dysfunction breeds dysfunction!

    2. The day after the story broke on national news the stands were filled with presumably Ped State administrators, faculty, employees, students and alumni. Where was there morality? (I only know this from watching the news as I DO NOT watch college sports because of the dysfunction it breeds. This has not been the first college sports scandal).

    3. It took over six months after the story broke and many weeks after multiple guilty convictions for Ped State to take down a statue. Where were their collective heads at?

    4. It took over six months to remove a halo from a mural at Ped State but yet the picture of the mural has not been removed or at least not been reported in the news.

The Ped State; administrators, faculty, employees, students and alumni are NOT victims in this matter!

Nor are the relatives of those who aided, abetted and assisted in the crimes.

Yes, it is true that you never should speak ill of the dead BUT that is outweighed by the innate and natural desire to protect the young, our children. Our society is not “scapegoating” in this matter we are trying to protect our children from these types of crimes - a worthy cause to say the least.

It infuriates me that OUR tax dollars in the form of federal grants to Ped State through their faculty and students have subsidized this behavior. If the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania wishes to spend their tax dollars on Ped State that is one thing but our federal tax dollars funding Ped State is another realm.

Whatever the NCAA hands down as “punishment” is not enough unless it is a total ban on sports for at least two decades. They appear to have as much backbone as the Nevada State Boxing Commission or a jellyfish.

Pennsylvania is home to America’s most hallowed and consecrated ground – Gettysburg. When I think of Ped State I think of those that not only died there for our nation but of all the Men and Women who have sacrificed; hard work, toil, tears, blood and unfortunately in too many cases their lives in making what America is today.

The only correct thing to do in this matter is allow the incoming class of Ped State finish their degrees in four years and close the University. This would allow enough time for the administrators, faculty, employees to find employment elsewhere.

I am TOTALLY against any further federal aid in any form to Ped State.
