Is anyone surprised that the Colorado shooter is a member of Occupy Wall Street?

If you see his pic today, he looks like a leading member of OWS. Tea partiers do not dye their hair orange.

Frankly I don't see that it matters. The man committed the crime, not the organization. Now if you can present some evidence showing that there was an organized conspiracy in the shooting which involved some group or another that would be worth investing time in considering. The attempts by both sides to constantly parlay tragedies into political points disgusts me in general.

We should put him in a cell with avid Tea Party member Jared Lee Loughner - then we can settle this thing once and for all.

Edit: Incorrect. Loughner was a die hard Tea Party member with strong right leanings... just like Timothy McVeigh and the IRS bomber in Austin

i haven't seen anything saying he was involved w/ occupy...but i am of the opinion that his hair is red b/c he was dipping his head in TEA...to dye it....

That's simply not true. Right wing blogs might say it is, but it isn't. It's a fantasy.
