In the history of all video games................?

There are so many good ones that are all so different from each other that it is really hard to choose. Some of my favorites are Doom 1 and 2, Ocarina of Time, and Halo 1 and 2. Sometimes I like to sit and listen to loops of Animal Crossing songs, and I also get huge nostalgia rushes when listening to the Pokemon Red/Blue soundtrack.

Caitlyn's answer made me cringe. Skyrim barely has music at all.

These will be highly opinionated, but some recent games have had some excellent ones. The Halo series are always top notch. Fallout New Vegas is pretty catchy. Some older ones would be Mario games and the Pokemon series. Not really soundtracks I guess, but unforgettable iconic music.

I love the music in all of the towns in the first three Pokemon generations but my favorite is Galaxy news radio from Fallout 3!
