what is the best gaming pc for my needs?

i don't want to go over $1000. in fact, i want to spend the minimum but i don't want some brand nobody's ever heard that got their parts from uzbekistan or whatever. but if $1000 is too cheap then I may go to $1500. I also might need a monitor. I have an old one from 2003. haven't bought a desktop since 2003 i guess. i don't want a pc that's really good for online gaming as I plan on doing a lot of one player action. I have the Sims 3 and I want to buy Civilization 5 and possibly other Civilizations. I also want to buy Tropico or whatever and the newest SimCity when it comes out. What is my best bet? I keep finding that these computers are geared for serious online play whereas I like the God-mode games where you get to control what all happens in the game rather than the slash and burners. What other good games are there? Am I wasting my money? Should I just stick with PS3 and wait until the PS4 comes out?

Checkout this pc... now i know that you have probably never heard of this computer company, however these are hand build in the USA with care and quality. now anyway, this pc has a great graphics card and also has a decent processor. if you want a faster processor in it there is an upgrade option for 50 bucks and if you want better graphics as well they will throw in additional graphics card. this gaming pc has the best parts around for its price, especially the video card.

good sir! No Skyrim considering it is a buggy interest! try Warcraft III the 1st actual interest replaced into made interior the mid ninety's and the 2nd replaced into interior the previous due. And the third is interior the 2000's era.
