Whats wrong with my girlfrind?
She started her period but she noticed her crotch kind of hurt and had pain when sitting. She looked at her crotch and noticed right towards the end of her vagina and kind of on her butt cheeks her skin was red and irritated. She has ended her period now but still has it, it is a little less red and seems a little better and the pain is completely gone. But it is still there and she has no symptoms like irritation, itchiness, pain, etc She thought maybe her pad caused it, but its been like 5 or 6 days. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what this is? Thanks for your time!!!

Next period she should try a different brand pad but also change it more often, too. If there is moisture against the skin for a long time, it can definitely cause the skin to get irritated and itchy. It needs to stay dry and breathe.

next time tell her to try a better pad like kotex or always or a well known brand like that.. she may be allergic to some pads.. if this continues to happen if different pad brands, get it checked out by a gyno or your doctor

It's probably a rash caused from a cheap pad. You might wanna ask your girlfriend to use a more expensive pad. ;)
