Con cosa posso sostituire l'haddock affumicato?

So che in italiano questo pesce si chiama eglefino, ma dalle mie parti è assolutamente introvabile. Vorrei cucinare la cullen skink, la tipica zuppa scozzese, ma mi manca proprio l'ingrediente principale

    io in Scozia l'ho mangiato impanato in padella e lo trovo piuttosto simile al merluzzo...

    il salmone ha un sapore diverso, per quanto anch'esso sia molto usato in Scozia

    io piuttosto userei del merluzzo affumicato (usane un po' meno perchè forse il merluzzo è più saporito l'eglefino più delicato)

    Prova con il salmone, o con le aringhe affumicate.. o con un altro pesce affumicato... ma non sarà mai la cullen skink
