It is really up to you, if that is what you want, do it. If you think you would regret it, wait until you are in a serious relationship.

It's not lame, i'm 17 and I still have a couple of friends who haven't even kissed a guy / girl.

your virginity is something special, you shouldn't just jump a friend to get it over with. sex is not about ''getting your rocks off'' its about love. its about a special bond between you and your boyfriend. dont listen to those who say you should just jump a friend and lose it, wait for the right boy you like to come along, and if hes the guy you want to spend the rest of your life with, then you can lose your virginity

It sounds to me like you're unsure. Uncertainty means you're not 100% ready, which means you shouldn't do it.

You're only 17. A serious relationship will come along sooner or later. In the meantime, don't do things you'll regret.

I lost my virginity to my best friend..he was few years older than me.it was akward but i dont regret it.

There was no erotic feelings.We took it very slowly and he made it a non painful expirience.

You have to be careful though because after that he or you may end up have feelings for eachother.

Save it. If you end up sleeping with them, there could be some serious consequences like pregnancy or STDs. Im pretty sure you wouldn't want that. My mom told me that teens aren't emotionally/mentally ready for something that serious. So I would save it.

this isn't something you take a poll on. either on the internet or with your friends or family. you also don't give it up because you feel "lame". that's a stupid reason to do it.

No, wait for someone special that you are dating for a while. It will be so much better and you won't regret it later, there is no reason to rush into it.

no. sex is risky, so i would go on birth control first and double-up with a condom, not expecting the guy to be good with them.

it changes your relationships, so you'd start dating this guy or he won't be your friend anymore.
