Losing antifreeze in new car.?

I have a 2010 Subaru outback with only 9000 miles on it. The first oil change at 3000 miles, they had to add about a quart of antifreeze. I checked it again and it is on low again. My best friend has the same car with less miles and they have added to his one time and it is below low again. My question is, where is it going? It is not leaking out because I park in a garage and so does he. What should we do next?

you can continue to scratch your head about it and ask us to guess what is wrong.....or you could take your new car, which is still under warranty back to the dealer and explain the problem to them and get a written tickit of what repairs they may or may not have made....

better than likley it relatively is a freeze plug it pops out if water freezes interior the engine block so it wont crack the block yet each so often they are going to come out as befell to me the radiator will merely circulate a pair of million/2 way down and thats it specific it could be burning it off yet if so there could be antifreeze interior the oil maximum probable yet no longer garenteed first ingredient is to do examine the exaust after that's been working see in case you have water comming out of the exaust then do a stress examine on the raditator additionally the cap in case you have a nasty cap you will loose fluids then examine that the seals and hoses are stable and all clamps are tight desire this permits sincerly josh

In my opinion at 3000 miles it is most natural for it to need antifreeze. especially if you live in hot climate areas. It is most natural to check your engine oil, trans oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid and antifreeze at least once a week especially if its a daily driver.
