A real spy should use something untraceable, like a surplus Russian gun

Glock is actually an Austrian handgun. An American spy recently used one to defend himself from attackers, I believe in Pakistan. I believe he had a Glock model 26

Glocks are used worldwide. The Iraqi police just bought something like 40,000 Glock 19s. I have a Glock 30 on the desk in front of me.

In Europe, the .380 seems to be more popular than the 9mm. In many countries, "military" rounds are banned.
Personally, I would buck the trend and give her an awesome .38 Super.

Ok, so it's a little big to carry all the time, and maybe not what you need. But if you're planning a big shoot-out she might have one stashed somewhere.
And if you need heavy firepower

Beretta 92A1 is a very nice Italian pistol with a magazine capacity of about 17 rounds. Very popular worldwide
The Five-SeveN pistol is a Belgian gun with a mag capacity of about 20 rounds. As far as I know this gun is sold only for law enforcement
Browning Hi-Power is another very nice Belgian pistol. I think it is more easily accessible than the Five-SeveN. I think it takes about 13 rounds.
The Glock is a hugely popular Austrian gun that makes up a large percentage of US police handguns.
Hope this helps :)
