What is your favorite Stephen King book and why? :)?

Mine is Misery. I like how it is simplistic in nature and yet branches out into a story of madness, deceit, and finding one's self through a desperate situation. I also love the way Paul thinks. Something about the connects he makes between Annie's ramblings and things from his past are interesting. and let's not forget Annie herself. I love Annie as a character. You never really know what she's going to do next. However, :SPOILERS: I did feel as though it was a little unnecessary to have it be that she had actually killed a bunch of old people and babies to drive it home that she was the "crazy bad guy". I would have been fine with her killing just a couple or even none at all. Even without that I think her character was complete, at least in my opinion :)

The Dark Tower series. A true Epic. Even though it is a work in progress (as he's revising it), it still stands as his greatest work. I love the links to his other works, and the whole idea of the tower and Roland's quest.

Mine is "It". Probably because it was the first SK book I read at 13, and I was just blown away with the vivid descriptions and characters. I felt like I was right there in the book with them, and I had never read anything that mind blowing before. I still reread it all the time and love how much detail there is.
