Why do people hate One Direction so much?
I don't understand why anyone would hate 1D so much. I mean they are really talented. They worked hard to become famous and they CAN actually sing. So i don't understand why people say they are untalented. And if you don't know who One Direction is, it's that British-Irish band with the five band mates named Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. It just makes no sense at all. Oh yeah, and I'm a directioner. :)
What did they ever do to you for you to hate them? Nothing at all.
So what's a valid reason for why people might hate them?
Uh yeah, I'm a 1D fan (Directioner). But I know that a lot of people hate them, so I just wanted to know why. Lol. :P :D

Lol people still remember NKOTB. :P There was a special on the E! called 15 most Awesomest Boy Bands and they got a pretty good spot on that list. :D
Oh yeah and all of my friends except for one of them hates. And they won't give me a valid reason for why they hate them. Like everyone in school makes fun of me because I'm the only Directioner there. :P
Oh yeah and I don't understand why Justin Bieber gets so much hate either. :)

That's kind of true about the BTR and 1D situation but BTR was produced by Nickelodeon while 1D has Simon Cowell and the X-Factor so 1D has better production than BTR which makes them more popular. But I love BTR too i'm a rusher lol.
I don't agree about the rumors about them being actually gay. But directioners call them gay cuz they have a bromance.♥♥♥ Yay bromance lol

WTF? Why would someone play to go to a BTR concert just to see 1D? That's stupid! I'd stay for the whole concert because i'm a rusher and directioner!! And how do you know if they rate girls?

Because people just judge them when in reality they know nothing about them! Haha. people tend to hate singers/band if people in there school or what not is obsessing over them, which doesn't make any sense to me. they try to be different and start to call them gay simply cause they will get reactions from people! I am not a One Direction fan but I personally do not like their music because it seems to lovey dovey or soft for me. I'm sort of a tomboy too and the music isn't my thing. Maybe that's one reason people hate it. I mean, men singing in high notes=gay in boy's opinions. It messes with the definition of masculinity.
But then there are guys (bronies) who like MLP and I'm okay with them. They are hated especially from other men because society now has that stupid thought that ponies are for girls when the diary MLP show was meant for both ages back in 1970.
People are just ignorant and our society is ****** up.

I'm a little irritated with you Directioners, and most pop fans in general. You have this unwavering belief that if somebody can sing well, they are great. That is not the case. Sure, if you can sing well then you CAN be a great musical artist, but there's more to it than that. These boys can sing pretty well, but there are THOUSANDS of people in the world that can sing better. The way artist separate themselves is through their lyrics. And that is where One Direction falls flat on their teeny-bopper asses. The lyrics are laughably bland and repetitive, each song has the same message. The millions of nucking futs fangirls don't help the cause. Why can't you people be like normal fans...take out your aggression amongst yourselves in giant moshpits.

1.Different people different taste.You can't just expect EVERYONE to like 1d.
2.1D might not fade soon among their fans but they might in 5 years of 10 years and so on.
3.Honestly,noone's jealous except the fangirls might be jealous of the girls 1D going out with.
4.I am sure that fangirl like'em due to their looks.
5.1D might be talented but there are more talented people in this world.

I know this is late but the only reason why I dislike one direction because SOME FANGIRL blares the music out disregarding everyone else in the room if I don't try to prevent her. (No offense to the fan girls who don't do this) I end up getting really irritated

Liking 1D is a matter of opinion. I hate 1D and i'm around 13 years old. I get 1000 girls going: ''Why do you hate them? Your jealous becuase their much more talented than you!!''
Not all of them are like that, but some are!
Its a taste of music i guess. I like Marina and the Diamonds, Lana del rey and all that stuff. 1D aren't my style, they dont seem to be as talented as other people to me.My Opinion.
Two of my friends are obsessed with 1D and i told them i didn't like them and they started saying ''God, your wierd. You listen to crappy depressing music''.

No, we are not "jealous". It's called not liking a style of music.
Their songs aren't original, and most of them aren't even that good (IMO)
But they'll fade away, just like any other boy band.

I just think that they are another version of Big Time Rush except they are five of them. I heard a gay rumor about them too but they are just old boy band from a show.

They seem the best boy band. Many girls like the pretty boy type which the appear to be and guys are jealous so they call them gay.
People can and will find fault in all things whether they warrant it or not. We all like our own style of music...some can accept that others like different music than themselves others can not.
As long as there are different types of music there will be people arguing about what is music and which type is best. Find what you like and to hell with everyone else. We are all allowed our own likes and dislikes and they can only argue with you about it if you let them and get dragged in.
