Crysis 2 is very different from the original and Warhead, but different does not mean worse. In fact, Crysis 2 is the most fun I've ever had playing a shooter (more fun than Gears of War, Halo, and Call of Duty). It is a monster of an adventure through a crumbling New York City. The weapons are more varied than in the original Crysis, and more fun to use. The visuals are much more appealing, despite what Crysis 1 fans are whining about. There is little difference between the presets, but you can make the graphics custom by installing the DX 11 and 1.9 patches.
