You sound like a neat guy who has his head together.......the fact you 'check on each other' with an ex ..... says good things about you.

If you are as mature as I think you are - make the effort to get a book called "Men are from Mars- Women are from Venus". This will be a terrific handbook for you as you search for and find the RIGHT woman ......your true life partner. This is one of the two books I have recommended to my four sons .....they are 31 to 42 now and EACH of them remembers at least ONE thing from that book that helped them drop the wrong woman or stay with the right woman. There is another book called "Men are like Waffles - Women are like Spaghetti" that I haven;t read but I hear it is good too.

Men and women are very very different and we can;t ignore what the feminists have done to relations between men and women - but the feminists are wrong - they have mislead women and they have tried to destroy men. You should do yourself a favour and get a good solid HONEST presentation of how to deal with/understand women. An added benefit is that when you meet the RIGHT woman - she will read and enjoy the book too - it is written by a man but his wife helped him with it - and it is a truly balanced assessment of the differences in the genders and how they can get along.
