If votes are tied on Y/A?

What happens if the votes on a question are level at the end of the voting deadline?

And also do u think u should get less points for a best answer chosen by the voters?

i thin k we should get like a few more points if the answer is chosen by the asker

like 15 points if it is chosen by the asker and 10 points if it's voted and i think the voting deadline is extended until the votes aren't tied.

The question stays in voting or undecided questions if no answer was picked as best because of equal votes. If you let your questions go to voting cause you don't pick a best answer yourself you don't get any points. Unless you put it to vote and then vote for an answer.

The best answer to be chosen will drag for months.

My suggestion is for Y!A to be the deciding Vote !

The deadline changes to tiebreaker, and it remains on that until someone else votes and the tie is broken,

  • How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

Then it remains in "tiebreaker mode" until someone casts a deciding vote. This could take years.

No - a BA is a BA regardless of how it comes.
