how to using chemistry book?

i have bought a chemistry book named ''study guide and solutions manual to accompany basic concepts of chemistry'' Please help me in how to use this book because it says answers and solutions to green text problems. what is ''green text'' please explain

    Apparently, you have bought a study guide that is intended to be used with a specific chemistry textbook, probably in this case called "Basic Concepts In Chemistry".

    I don't understand how it's possible you don't realize this, since it's certain that the study guide explains exactly what book it is intended as a study guide for.

    You have to buy the textbook "Basic Concepts of Chemistry". The green text is in the textbook, you only have the study guide.
