Anyone watch the olympic opening ceremony ? Was it any good ?

I loved it! I personally thought it was better than any other Opening Ceremony I'd ever seen. It was beautiful. I loved how they 'forged' one of the Olympic rings then lifted them all up in the air. And all the torches from each country that got lit and all put together. And it had the funny parts like Mr. Bean and the Queen stunt double parachuting. The UK did a great job and I loved it. :)

Yes! It was very good. I enjoyed the tributes to the British music and the guy who invented the world wide web and the history of Britain. The part with Rowan Atkinson, AKA Mr. Bean, was so funny--one of the best parts. Of course, I enjoyed the parade of nations.

I had mixed feelings, but overall I think it was good. (This is coming from a Brit).
